Liftmaster Garage Door Opener Manual – Automatic garage doors keep owners from having to open and close their garage doors manually. This is especially useful during inclement weather. With the LiftMaster garage door opener, all you need to do is press a button to open and close the door automatically. The LiftMaster also comes with sensors that prevent the door from closing if there is an obstacle inside the opening. Due to the amount of work needed to get your LiftMaster garage door opener up and running, it can take several hours to complete the installation and adjustment process. If you have not done a lot of handyman work in your home, you will want to leave this job to a professional.

Insert the rail through the motor unit bracket until the coupling fits firmly onto the drive motor pinion. Also the two bolt holes in the engine unit bracket with those in the rail. Insert two 1/4-inch-20 x 5/8-inch hex bolts and nuts into the two holes and tighten with a wrench.
Place the car on the bottom of the railing, with the arrow on the car pointing away from the engine unit and the horizontal arm launch car. Slide the car along the rail until it clicks firmly into place. Fit the rail in parentheses at the end of the rail assembly with two 1/4 inch-20 x 5/8-inch hex bolts and the lock nuts. Tighten the bolts and nuts with a wrench.
